The Newfoundland & Labrador Brain Injury Association (NLBIA) received a much-needed Christmas present on December 17 when Captain Hynes, Oceanex’s Chairman and CEO, presented the Association with a cheque for $40,000 on behalf of Oceanex. The Association was recently forced to close its offices and reduce programming for brain injury survivors as a result of stolen funds. The donation will allow the Association to reopen its offices and focus on providing support services for brain injury survivors.
