Termont Montréal Inc., one of two container terminal operators in the port of Montréal, has ordered five rubber-tired gantry cranes from Konecranes. The cranes will be delivered in the second half of 2016. Julien Dubreuil, General Manager of Termont Montréal Inc. stated: “We selected Konecranes RTGs at the conclusion of a thorough evaluation process covering every aspect of RTG performance, operation, maintenance and support. We are confident that we made the right decision, and look forward to receiving the cranes.”
The five are 16-wheel RTGs will have a lifting capacity of 60 tons, stacking 1-over-6 containers high and 6 rows plus truck lane wide.
